Tell us about the issues, if any, that you have had with your 6.0L Powerstroke. EGR? Injectors? Turbo? Heads?

I worked on an '04 earlier this week. It had some cold misfire issues and intermittent stumble with heavy smoke problems. A simple injector module reprogram cured the misfire. The stumble was caused by a faulty egr valve. Two really easy fixes to turn some major driveablilty issues into a smooth running truck.

The important message here is that regular scheduled maintenance is a very good way to avoid costly repairs to the 6.0L FORD, it's a great truck overall, with a powerful diesel engine, but they are prone to a few issues.
